This highly practical 1 hour introduction will provide you with handy hints and tips in the running of a clinical negligence case. It will focus in particular on tactical considerations at key stages including some reminders to help avoid traps and pitfalls for the unwary.


It is presented by Dr Jock Mackenzie, a dual qualified doctor of medicine and solicitor with a wealth of knowledge and insight who now practises exclusively in claimant clinical negligence work. It will cover a range of topics including the investigation phase of a claim (from obtaining factual evidence through expert evidence to the Pre-Action Protocol), service of court proceedings and statements of case, interim remedies, costs and case management, documentary evidence and disclosure, Alternative Dispute Resolution and settlement.
