Whenever two or more organisations work together, on a project or contract that involves handling personal data, it is likely you will need some sort of agreement that relates to the data. Using practical examples, this virtual classroom seminar will explain the different types of agreements and how to use them.
Specialist data protection consultant Clare Paterson will look at what the data protection law says about sharing data, the difference between Data Processing and Data Sharing Agreements, and when to use each type of agreement. This session will also explore how to structure the agreement to specific circumstances, because one size does not fit all, as well as risks of getting the agreements wrong, and how to assess and manage those risks.
