Course description

As the requirements on landlords in the sector accelerate and the powers for private tenants and local authorities increase, it is vital that landlords are aware of the most current legislation, guidance and court decisions. The Tenant Fee ban is now in force and it is crucial that landlords and agents understand the impact. There are ongoing updates around the use of Section 21, and 2021 has already seen several changes, not only regarding the coronavirus pandemic but also implementation of new requirements for the PRS. It is key that you are aware of the relevant changes, and this course covers all of the latest requirements including electrical safety rules, fire safety changes for HMO, breathing space procedures for tenants in debt and the changes in rules surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
