Course description

Landlords have a duty to ensure electrics are safe and in full working order at the start of a tenancy and PAT testing is a recommended way to maintain your equipment in a safe and compliant manner. Dependant on licensing and insurance conditions of the property, PAT testing may or may not be mandatory. This course comprises of the law, code of practice, practical training, theory and practical examinations that will enable you able to PAT test your own equipment. No prior knowledge is necessary.

  • Competent to Inspect and Test and item of equipment and based upon the result state that the equipment is safe or not for continued use
