Course description

Electrician Education

Change your life with a job ready course

The course is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a fully qualified electrician, by providing you with a thorough grounding in electrics and electrical principles. It covers a number of City & Guilds qualifications; Part P Defined scope, Part P Full scope, and 18th Edition of IET Wiring Regulations.

The main objective of the training courses is to give you the “hands-on” knowledge and practical skills for your chosen trade, regardless of your current level of ability. This is a uniquely structured blended learning program, delivered by a combination of theory and practical skills acquisition.

The practical training is designed to complement the course – not only bringing into context the theory you have learnt at home, but also giving you the knowledge, skills and experience you need to work competently and safely in your chosen trade.

Course Benefits

Accredited fully equipped state of the art training centres with workshop and classroom facilities, staffed by expert tutors with many years’ industry experience.

Full NVQ certification available – convert your technical certification to an NVQ by completing onsite assessments.

Continue in your current job and earn money until you are ready to start work in your new career.

Learn at your own pace and take breaks between modules as and when you require.

Access to expert tutors to help with any queries, both at the centre when you do your practical workshops by phone and email.

On successful completion of all the aspects of the training course, you have the option to move up and complete an NVQ. This cannot be achieved at a training centre and without the underpinning knowledge, but only by completing a portfolio of diverse evidence of onsite work. Our recommended training providers offering courses in electrics run their own construction projects which presents a unique opportunity for you to convert your City & Guilds technical qualifications into an NVQ.
