Suitability - Who should attend?

Entry Requirements

Participants must be working and qualified in their substantive field to gain entry on to the course but need not previously have acted as expert witnesses in legal proceedings.

Learning outcomes

Will be familiar with the duties and responsibilities of experts under Civil Procedure Rules
(If report writing element undertaken) will develop expertise in writing reports for legal proceedings in Civil jurisdiction
(If giving evidence in court element is undertaken) will develop expertise in giving expert evidence in legal proceedings in Civil jurisdiction
