Course description
This module aims to introduce you to the theory and practice of computer system security, and to provide you with knowledge and understanding of the security problems of computer systems. You will also gain an overview of the main technologies related to computer system security.
This module has been developed in association with experts from the police, business and national bodies. The programme is specifically focused on the needs of information managers and professionals in order to meet the security challenges of operating in the current business climate.
How do you study?
This module is delivered in a one week-long teaching block at NTU's Clifton campus, and students will need to prepare themselves by carrying out self-directed study for a week before the module is delivered. Students will spend up to six weeks working on the module assignment following the teaching block.
