Course description
This NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care course is ideal for students currently working in health and social care who would like to develop their knowledge or progress their career further. During your studies, you’ll develop your knowledge of various key areas involved in working in health and social care. You’ll learn more about the signs that may indicate someone requires safeguarding, and the precautions that can be taken to reduce the spread of infection in a setting. You will also explore the psychological theories relating to health and social care, as well as the legislation, policies and procedures, codes of practice, and professional standards that need to be adhered to when working in health and social care. After completing this qualification, you can either progress to further studies, or apply for a wide range of jobs in the health and social care sector such as healthcare assistants, care support workers, and community-based support workers.
