The focus of Skills Centre PLUS is to

deliver a flexible and responsive approach to the requirements of the Local Authority
allow learners to have access to a broad, balanced and enriched curriculum that they thoroughly enjoy
ensure that learners are taught by committed, motivated, qualified and experienced professionals who have undertaken a specialised training programme
provide an exceptional learning establishment that fosters and promotes a quality teaching and learning experience within a caring environment
offer a centre where learners are challenged to have self-expectations and a strong sense of their own worth that will enable them to maximise their potential

Dependant on which sector you wish to work in, you may spend one day at our Centre and the rest of the week developing your practical skills and knowledge on the job.

PLUS offer both Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships across age groups 16-18, 19-23 and 24+ in Business Administration, Health & Social Care, Motor Vehicle, Retail, Hair & Beauty and Nail Technology.
