Course description

ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management

Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) qualifications are well-recognised in the workplace. Qualifications are composed of a range of modules which cover the core areas of leadership and management. The Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Leadership and Management are aimed at people who have management responsibilities but no formal training and want to develop their knowledge and skills. This could include team leaders, those aspiring to move into their next role and those who need to manage people through change.

Assessment is through written assignments and each assignment focuses on the application of learning theory to each individual’s workplace. The material includes a variety of activities, reflections and self-assessments to help individuals develop their self-awareness and identify areas for further development. The ILM Certificate carries 13 credits. Learners who achieve an Award can progress onto a Certificate and then to a Diploma if they wish.
