Managing People on Projects
PTP has introduced a new product called Face-to-Face Live. This is where the delegate can log on from anywhere and attend a live training session. Delegates can either join our public course dates (limited to a maximum of 10) or you can arrange a 1-2-1 or a session just for a group of your colleagues even if they are all working from home.
Effective people management, delegation skills, motivation skills, team management, influencing and communication skills, enable project managers to gain commitment from the project team to achieve the performance needed to successfully deliver against objectives. People are one of the most important parts of a project, but people management skills are often overlooked in favour of technical skills.
This Managing People on Projects course is available throughout the UK.

- 09:30 Coffee, introductions and course& objectives
- 10:00 The three fundamentals for managing a project& & &
- 10.15 Questionnaire to identify how participants currently communicate
- 11:00 Effective influencing (participants choose a real person who they need to influence post course and prepare to do it)
- 11:45 Understanding people (Techniques are covered which quickly increase our understanding of others)
- 13:15 Team exercise (Opportunity to receive personal feedback )
- 14:00 Delegation (Barriers to delegation are explored and guidelines for effective delegation given)
- 14:30 Managing difficult conversations (participants work on their own situation using a useful framework)
- 15:15 Improving individual commitment (A simple method of assessing lack of commitment in others)
- 15:30 participants work to resolve their own "people issue" (This activity is done in small confidential groups)

To join our full day public course offering is just £280+ VAT per delegate.
To have a 1-2-1 for half-a day is £350 + VAT.
To train two delegates in-house from the same organisation is £580 + VAT for a full day and additional delegates are charged at £100 + VAT each.
