This course is for individuals who are wanting to develop additional railway skills. This course is designed to train persons who have been nominated by their line manager or sponsor to enable them to attain the Controller of Site Safety competence.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is for individuals who are wanting to develop additional railway skills. This course is designed to train persons who have been nominated by their line manager or sponsor to enable them to attain the Controller of Site Safety competence.
Manager to decide if suitable or not, Meet correct medical requirements, must hold a Valid PTS competence and Must be out of Learning support.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
- Course results will be uploaded within 48hrs.
- The candidates will be able to demonstrate their understanding and
ability to set up a Safe System of Work before they or any group of staff
is allowed to go "On or Near the Line". - Assessments will need to be completed throughout the life of the
Training Course Content
This course aims to provide each individual to correctly determine their responsibilities and duties when working as a Controller of Site Safety when setting up a Safe System of Work on or near the line. A COSS competence is required to be held by anyone who is required to set up a safe system of work.
