They will have the professionalism to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development.

Suitability - Who should attend?

These qualifications can be offered to Learners from age 19. CMI does not specify entry requirements for these qualifications, but Centers are required to ensure that Learners admitted to the program have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.

CMI Centers must ensure Learners are recruited with integrity onto appropriate qualifications that will:

  • meet their needs
  • enable and facilitate learning and achievement
  • enable progression

Outcome / Qualification etc.

  • All the important management theories and models are covered in this course. As a result, the students will gain a better understanding of the various consulting techniques that are applicable in the workplace.
  • A CMI diploma in Professional Consulting is the benchmark qualification for full IC membership, taking you another step closer towards Chartered Manager status
  • Will be helpful to the students to develop their problem-solving skills through the practical application of the various management models and theories.
  • A nationally – recognized qualification, the credits earned at this course can be transferred to other courses, if the students want to pursue Level 8.
  • On successful completion of the course the students will be able to demonstrate their proficiency in the various consulting practices which will improve their chances of making a successful career progression.

Training Course Content

Unit1- Strategic Risk Management

The ability to effectively lead strategic risk management is essential to safeguard an organization's prosperity and reputation. Ultimately, leaders must know how to develop and lead risk management in a manner that not only reacts to organizational needs but contributes to organizational success. The aim of this unit is for leaders to develop an in-depth understanding of strategic risk management. Leaders will critically appraise strategic risk within an organizational context. They will assess strategies for risk management and the leadership skills to lead risk initiatives successfully. Ultimately, leaders will be given the opportunity to develop a framework to deliver a risk strategy in an organizational context.

Unit2- Developing Organizational Strategy

Leaders must have an in-depth understanding of strategy and how it can be developed if they are to operate effectively in complex local, national and global markets. The aim of this unit is to enable leaders to know how to develop and influence an organization's strategic direction through the development of a meaningful strategy. To support this outcome, leaders will critique the factors which drive the development of organizational strategy and appraise approaches to successfully develop strategy. The unit culminates in leaders developing an organizational strategy to achieve a business goal. To complement this activity, leaders will propose an approach to implement and monitor the strategy developed to ensure its sustained success.
