Introduction

Are you a Professional Interpreter and you would like a formal qualification? Or are you aspiring to get into this field? If so the Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting Qualification is perfect for you.

Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting is the minimum requirement for interpreters and one which is accepted throughout the industry for the majority of paid interpreting assignments. Once you have complete level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting you will be able to work directly with Language Service Providers. Community Interpreting courses are accredited, it is not possible to simply enrol on the course. You must attend an initial assessment and induction session before you enrol in any of the Community Interpreting Level 3 Part 1 courses. Please note that this is only for Tooting and Wandsworth based courses.

At the induction session you will find out more about Community Interpreting, will meet the course tutors and will have an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about working in this field. We will also undertake assessments to ensure that the course is at the right level for you. We aim to assess the fluency and accuracy of your written and spoken English.

Following the induction session, we will then contact all applicants with the outcome.
