Course description
Introduction
Develop drawing & painting skills using different cultural focuses with reference to the theme of Colour & Culture.
From Islamic designs to 20th century Western abstraction learners will be encouraged to explore and be inspired by a wide range of references.
There will be individual and group tuition with demonstrations and mini-lectures. Learners will be encouraged to visit galleries and specific exhibitions and compile a sketch book to enrich their learning experience.
Assessment
Assessment is on-going with teacher feedback, self assessment and individual learning plans.
