Mentorship skills include active listening, providing constructive feedback, and offering guidance. Mentoring skills help individuals develop their professional skills, achieve their goals and better understand people management. They create the right environment for growth such as fostering safety and trust. Effective mentors provide guidance, support, and feedback to their mentees. This helps mentees navigate challenges and make progress in their careers.

Training Course Content
Learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of mentoring skills, which they will then be able to implement in their own workplace. The course units are as follows:
- Peer mentoring skills
- Understand peer mentoring
This is an internally assessed qualification – the work carried out in each session is used to evidence completion of the qualification.

This course is delivery online so is self paced. You will be allocated a tutor should you have any questions or need any support as you complete your qualification.
