Essential Digital Skills
Within the next 20 years 90% of jobs will require some level of digital skills. Over 11 million people currently lack these skills. If you are one of those 11 million, this course will provide you with the skills needed.
You will learn the basic skills required to carry out most tasks from filling out online forms to creating and organising files and learning how to protect your personal information.
Laptops will be provided for these sessions. Update your IT & computer skills!

Suitability - Who should attend?
There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course. To secure your place please return the completed application form (which can be found on the course webpage on the Step Into Learning website). After this, we will arrange an initial assessment to find out which level qualification will be most suitable for you.
If you lack confidence in your ability to use a computer, this course will help you develop the confidence and motivation to safely access and use community and wider services, and opportunities presented online and digitally.

Training Course Content
You will learn the basic skills required to carry out most tasks from filling out online forms to creating and organising files and learning how to protect your personal information.
This is an externally assessed qualification. You will need to sit 5 tests to demonstrate the skills you have learnt. You can take these tests in any order you like so you can choose the module you feel most confident in first.

These classes are delivered face to face in Launceston, Bude, Camelford and Tintagel.

This course costs £150 and can be paid via a payment plan (£50 deposit and then £10 per week)
