Level 3 Award in Education & Training
This course is aimed at those who would like to teach in the further education sector in a college or private training provider. Level 3 Education & Training Award provides you with knowledge and understanding of the role of a teacher and how to meet individual learner needs.
This course can be studied at the same time as the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement for the combined price of £600
You will gain the knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of teachers or trainers related to equality and diversity, legislation and meeting the needs of learners. The course covers the planning and delivery of sessions, motivating learners within a learning environment, assessment methods and record-keeping. If you're interested in teaching or learning & development then this could be the course for you!

Suitability - Who should attend?
There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course. Although, we would recommend that you have completed a Level 2 course before starting a Level 3. To secure your place please return the completed application form available on the course webpage on the Step Into Learning website. After this, we will arrange an initial advice and guidance session before completing an initial assessment. You do not need to be teaching to take this qualification.
If you want to work with adults and young people, most awarding organisations require you to hold or be working towards a L3 teaching qualification. This qualification is for anyone wanting to teach adults and young people in a further education setting. It will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able teach vocational qualifications.
