What will I learn?
If you love all things health and fitness, and would like to earn a living and forge a career in the fitness industry, a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification is the ideal course to turn your passion into a rewarding job. You’ll develop all the skills, knowledge and competence you’ll need to work as a fully qualified personal trainer, with a qualification that is recognised and approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). This will enable you to offer one-to-one training, baseline assessment, nutritional advice and progressive programming, specific to the individual needs of your client.As part of this Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, you’ll study four core units. These cover anatomy and physiology for exercise and health, how to apply the principles of nutrition, how to create a programme of personal training for your clients, and how to effectively deliver one-to-one sessions.

What do I need to know?
To be eligible for this Level 3 course, you’ll need to already hold a Level 2 Fitness/Gym Instructors award. Other sports awards cannot be accepted. We’ll ask you to pass some basic English and maths tests when you apply too. You’ll also need to have a good level of physical fitness for this practical course, along with excellent communication and motivational skills, the ability to work independently and the ability to build a good client rapport.
