This one-day face-to-face course will provide a comprehensive review of seizures in small animals. The pathophysiology of seizure activity will be explored and compared with other similar episodic collapse syndromes in small animals. The appropriate use of anticonvulsant medications, both on and off cascade, will be discussed and their use in the attempted control of both simple and pharmacoresistant idiopathic epileptic patients will be described. The day will cover all you ever need to know about the investigation and management of seizures in the dog and cat.

This course is designed for veterinary surgeons with some experience in the management of neurological conditions in small animals.
