Wound tension and the need for reconstruction is a problem that is faced daily in veterinary practice. This course will discuss the principles of wound tension and its management. Using a combination of these surgical principles, delegates will be taught ways to close wounds under both moderate and severe tension.  The lectures will be informative yet based on actual clinical cases with step-by-step photos on how to perform each surgery.

  • Bandaging techniques and drains
  • Simple advancement and rotational flaps
  • More advanced wound reconstruction techniques
