Established in 1967, The Well School is a co-ed independent day school for children in preschool through 8th Grade in beautiful Peterborough, New Hampshire. Our philosophy emphasizes a solid academic and experiential foundation, small class sizes, and the importance of the arts, the outdoors, and physical activity. The Well School is a place of excellence in teaching and learning, as well as a supportive environment in which every student can grow and discover his or her whole self.

The power and value of The Well School comes from our small community culture where every student is known and nurtured. Close-knit classroom environments encourage strong, positive connections among peers as well as between teachers and students.
