LabVet Europe
The online educational programme for the competent designated veterinarian in laboratory animal facilities
This programme aims at qualifying designated laboratory animal veterinarians to the level demanded by the 2010 EU directive on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes and the subsequent guidance paper. It is to be seen as continuation of the competencies gained from following the previous FELASA category D programmes, but it is solely dedicated to those thousands of vets who work world-wide as designated laboratory animal veterinarians.
100% online
The programme is 100 % online, and it is accredited by the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations (FELASA). It is structured to offer you knowledge and skills you can use in your daily work as a designated veterinarian.
Certificate from FELASA
The programme is build around Teaching and Resources, Certification and the Labvet Community. After completion, students enrolled in the programme will acquire a certificate from FELASA and gain access to the European LabVet Community.
