University of Durham - Apprenticeship Training
Durham University operates its own training centre for government-funded training programmes within its human resources department. The university is the third-largest employer in County Durham and the apprenticeship scheme at the university was established in 1997 to provide work-based learning for employees. Durham University provides training toward the advanced apprenticeship in business and administration for those members of staff employed as advanced apprentices by the organisation. Durham University does not provide apprentice training for other organisations.
