Immunisation and Vaccination: Two Day Core Course (Online)
This two-day study day, for nurses new to immunisation, covers the aims of immunisation, the immune system and how vaccines work, correct administering, adverse reactions, contraindications, consent, medico-legal issues, storage and handling, anaphylaxis, child and adult vaccines and schedules, and basic travel. This double study day is aimed at nurses and is not suitable for Health Care Assistants.
Nurses not involved in child or travel immunisations need attend only the first day [ please see course code SD-31 - one day only
