There are many different ways of planning and managing a
project. Project management differs from general ‘management’
as it focusses on the delivery of an end-product within a finite
timespan. It is not an ongoing process. Project managers
need a range of skills that include technical skills and people
management skills. You will get an overview of project
management, its concepts, tools, techniques and processes.
Using relevant case studies, you will consider the whole project
lifecycle.
This course is ideal if you have no prior knowledge of project
management, if you wish to refresh your knowledge or develop
your confidence in managing projects.
The learning outcomes of this course provide an understanding of:
• the role of a project manager
• project management concepts, tools, techniques and processes
• industry standards
• communicating project status to a range of stakeholders
• the limitation of people, tools and methods in project
management

- The standard price for a half day course is £105.00
- For Individual and Organisations booking three or more half day courses at one time can obtain the courses for £90.00 each course as a multirate discount
- For APC candidates/Retired attendees/Apprenticeship rate - the price is £70.00 per course
