This is a great course for those who know they would like to follow a career in the Construction Industry but are not sure which particular trade to choose. You will spend half the year learning practical bricklaying skills and the other half learning Plastering. This is an Entry Level 3 course and the emphasis is on practical skills with elements of theory and Functional Skills. English and Maths are an important part of your training and are essential for you to progress your career in construction. Learning a trade can give you a good employment base for the rest of your life and there is almost always a need for skilled tradespeople. Your studies will hopefully lead to you achieving NCFE Certificate in Occupational Studies Plastering and an Ascentis Preparation for Employment in Bricklaying.
