Course description
This course is ideal if you want to specialise in Baking and patisserie products. Perhaps you want to become a pastry chef and work in this exciting service industry. This is a practical course and you will be taught how to create a variety of products including breads, buns, cakes, and hot and cold desserts. This course is not about cake decoration, it is aimed at industrial-scale professional cookery. Your products will be sold in our Baking, shops and cafes on campus.

Entry to this course is by application and interview - there are no formal qualifications for this course. Applicants are expected to have a genuine interest in Patisserie and all aspects of the Baking industry.
