This practical course will help you develop the skills and knowledge to start your journey to a career in the sports sector. As well as learning how the human body works, you will also develop your sporting skills, and your develop your communication, inter-personal and customer service skills. The sports sector is part of the UK's service sector. In addition, as part of your course you will also plan and lead a sports event. You will learn how to play a variety of sports including: - volleyball - badminton and - table tennis As part of the course you will develop your CV and you will have opportunities to develop the skills that employers look for. You will continue to improve your skills in English and Maths with the aim of achieving A* - C in Maths and English.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You will have at least 2 GCSE grades at D or above, including English or Maths, or have successfully achieved an appropriate Entry Level qualification. You will need at least an Entry Level 3 in English. If you are joining us straight from school we will also take your school attendance (at least 95%) and punctuality (at least 98%) record into account. If you are a mature student, previous work experience, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and to progress will be taken into account.
