Course description
All our courses are designed to cover the full range of topics and tasks as laid down by the awarding body in response to the latest industry requirements. The topics covered will include: 1 Scope, object and fundamental principles for safety 2 Definitions 3 Assessment of General Characteristics 4 Protection for safety 5 Selection and Erection of equipment 6 Special Installations 7 Inspection and Testing 8 Use of Appendices On completion of the course practising electricians will understand the structure of the regulations and the importance of complying with respect to safe design and use of electrical installations.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Completion of the City & Guilds 2330 Lv3 Electrical Installation or have achieved the C&G 236 PtII or gained the newer qualification of C&G 2365 Lv3. Alternatively experienced electricians with a good working knowledge of previous editions of the IEE Wiring Regulations. C&G directive - Qualified Electricians will need to comply with the latest 17th Edition + Amendments regulations.
