Overview
The Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training is designed for learners working in or aspiring to work in, health and fitness, particularly in personal training roles or similar. This qualification will give learners entry to the Resister of Exercise Professionals at level 3.
The Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training is nationally recognised and based on the Personal Training National Occupational Standards (NOS). Undertaking this qualification typically leads to roles in health and fitness, particularly that of personal trainer or similar.
Assessment
To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training, you must achieve a minimum of 48 credits.
Units include:
- Anatomy and physiology for exercise and health
- Principles of exercise, fitness and health
- Promote health, safety and welfare in active leisure and recreation
- Motivate clients to maintain long term adherence to exercise and physical activity
- Evaluate exercise and physical activity programmes
- Design, manage and adapt a personal training programme with clients
