Course description

Organisations globally are under pressure to focus on improving equality, inclusion and diversity (I&D). Implementing an actionable and holistic inclusion strategy is now high on the agenda for people professionals, particularly following the brutal murder of American citizen George Floyd. Creating inclusive cultures where individuals can thrive requires change and conversation, moving anyway from futile tokenism or doing nothing.

However, what does it take to operate as a truly inclusive organisation and what does it mean to be an inclusive leader? This short online course examines some of the key traits that help foster inclusive habits and leadership, with valuable contributions from subject matter expert Nichole McGill-Higgins. Delivered via the CIPD Learning Hub, the programme explores how bias and lack of psychological safety can hinder results and progress in this space. Aspiring I&D specialists will be empowered to take effective action and move forward in their inclusive journey.

All CIPD Learning courses will automatically provide you with access to the CIPD Learning Hub, our online learning platform, for 24 months.

The hub will house your course content, as well as useful resources, tools, and a community of professionals that you can tap into to support your learning and continual development.
