Course description
This course is suitable for those who are preparating for employment in job roles where they will be expected to work autonomously in carrying out administrative tasks and wish to gain a qualification in text production.
Teaching / learning methods
Explanations to the whole group and individuals, individual worksheets and exercises group projects. You will need a Hands-on practice by learners.
Progression opportunities
This qualification has been designed to provide the basic knowledge and understanding required to enable progression directly into administrative job roles or the Level 2 Certificate in Administration (business professional).
By the end of the course you will be able to:
* Prepare routine business documents including e-mails, memoranda, messages, facsimiles and business letters
* Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with customers, both within and external to the
organisation.
* Understand the activities undertaken in business organisations.
* Understand of the role of the administrator in business organisations.
* Undertake and complete routine tasks in an office environment.
* Understand the importance of organisational skills and personal presentation.
* Use a computer system software to create and know how to use a variety of diary systems.
