For students who wish to gain a professional qualification and are aiming to be employed in an accounting or financial environment.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Applicants should have a Level 2 qualification in English & maths along with an advanced level of IT skills. Applicants should also have an interest in accounting or preferably be already working in accounting, but this is not essential. Applicants are also expected to pass an entry test at the time of enrolment.

The course is made up of the following units:
- Introduction to Bookkeeping
- Principles of Bookkeeping Controls
- Principles of Costing
- The Business Environment
Course delivery details
There is a computer based exam for each of the 5 units.
Continuing Studies
Successful students can apply to move on to Level 3.
