Course Aims

Course Aim This course is designed for delegates who plan or conduct a systematic and regular program of maintenance, inspection and testing of electrical equipment in the workplace. It offers a greater understanding of, and compliance with, the legislation and regulations controlling those who are involved with the testing and reporting of electrical equipment used within a place of work. The course promotes better documentation, communication and enforcement of safe working procedures. Who Should Attend Those who require an understanding of why electrical equipment testing is necessary, and that need to be able to demonstrate safely and accurately all aspects of electrical inspection, tests and run procedures. Those who are responsible for the testing of and maintaining records for electrical equipment in the workplace or on work transport. In addition those with suitable electrical knowledge and/or experience to further develop their own skillset.

Certification

Delegates who demonstrate a high level of competence in the course assessment will be awarded either a City & Guilds 2377 or EAL 600/4340/4 certificate depending on which is choosen at time of booking. City and Guilds Logo
