Professional Certificate/Diploma in Cycling Infrastructure

Well-designed infrastructure for cyclists is an increasingly key area of activity for highway practitioners. Retrofitting our streets is a complex process that requires a thorough understanding of the needs of all road users and the latest design solutions. IHE are offering a fully accredited 4 day non residential course for those involved in designing for cyclists. The course offers an opportunity for those with experience of implementing cycling schemes to demonstrate their competence and expand upon their knowledge of this increasingly important area. It provides and industry benchmark and the Professional Certificate has received endorsement from the Department for Transport. TfL experts will take delegates on a guided cycle tour to experience the cycle superhighways and other innovative cycle treatments that they have designed and constructed in central London. The course also leads to the Professional Certificate in Cycling Infrastructure.
