The Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP) credential is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated the highest knowledge of best practices in the Destination Management industry.
The course shall focus on vision, leadership, productivity and implementing business strategies and enhancing your industry knowledge, skills and professional credibility.
In this course of DMCP participants will learn how destination organizations and the various departments within an organization function, the role of a destination organization within a community, how destination organizations enhance and benefit their communities, how to sell your destination to business and leisure travellers
Suitability - Who should attend?
The course on Destination Management Certified Professional is ideal for:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Destination Management OR 2 years of experience in Destination Management + any college degree
- Current employment in the hospitality industry
- Responsibility and accountability for the successful completion of Destination Management programs
