Course description

The hazard identification & risk assessment procedure helps the company establish, implement, and maintain documented processes for continuously identifying hazards and assessing risks attached. From these procedures, the appropriate control measures can be implemented.

This Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) training course will provide an excellent basic understanding of the importance of hazard identification, risk assessment and how the process works. It's an ideal introduction for workers at all levels, mainly those new to the risk assessment process and those taking on new responsibilities in this area to carry out audits or inspections at their workplace.

It will enable the delegates to prepare and conduct a risk assessment and initiate remedial actions for hazards identified using the hierarchy of control and risks assessed and help identify the unsafe practices as well as how to intervene positively and take proper action.
