Louise has been training Reflexologists in the UK and the world for the last 25 years and her lecture programme has helped develop standards and promote Reflexology in many countries.
You will learn reflexology with an emphasis on the holistic approach to health and gain an understanding of the causes as well as symptoms of disease helping you develop your skills to become a professional Reflexologist. To support your reflexology skills you will appreciate how diet and lifestyle has an impact on our health and what we put into and onto our body can have a healing or harmful affect. You will be taught how to evaluate, adapt and apply the most effective reflexology skills and techniques to give professional treatments helping change symptom patterns and promote optimum health.
What is Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy involving pressure using thumbs on the reflexes found in the feet and hands. Reflexology is effective and based on the principle that reflexes in the feet and hands correspond to each organ and structure in the body. Linked to those organs are energy channels, and when illness occurs in the body, the corresponding energy channels become blocked. Reflexology is applied to destroy these blockages, allowing the energy to flow freely again, so restoring the body's natural balance and therefore good health.

Outcome / Qualification etc.
Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded the nationally recognsed qualification, the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology and enable you to register with leading CAM professional bodies in the UK, including all major government-recognised complementary therapy associations, including the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), Association of Reflexologists, Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). This will enable you to obtain full professional insurance and to work as a fully-qualified. You can get client referrals through NHS primary care trusts, major health insurance providers, the schools partner associations as well as the Reflexology Agency run by the school to help graduates find work.
