Candidates sitting the Solicitors Qualifying Examination are required to have knowledge of ethics and professional conduct that will be tested pervasively across all subject areas.

This webinar will introduce you to this topic. It will also highlight some key areas where understanding of the correct behaviours is essential. Not only will this knowledge assist as part of your preparation for your SQE assessment, but it is also essential information connected with the practice of law in the workplace.

Each topic will be discussed with an emphasis on the practical application of ethical and professional knowledge to common scenarios that you might face. Presenter Tracey Calvert is the Co-Chair of the International Bar Association’s Professional Ethics Committee and was previously employed by the Law Society and the SRA as a senior ethics adviser.
