Presenter Sue Ioannou will explore the pros, cons, and administrative workability of the FLIT (Flexible Life Interest Trust), and the session aims to expand upon your already basic knowledge of trusts and their tax treatment, thus giving you a broader knowledge base to advise clients more effectively.
You will also learn how to effectively draft a will which includes a full discretionary trust, a life interest trust, a right of occupation trust, and a FLIT.

The session will look at how to decide the best type of trust for your client and in particular the pros, cons and administrative workability of the FLIT (Flexible Life Interest Trust).
