Course description
This introductory level virtual classroom seminar will cover the key issues you are likely to come across in your day-to-day practice.
Topics discussed will include special educational needs (including securing, challenging the content of, and enforcing EHC plans), education for children who are unable to attend school (including interim education and education otherwise than in school), and school admission and exclusion appeals. Home to school transport will also be covered, along with disability discrimination, and appeals and claims to the First-tier Tribunal, judicial review, local authority and school complaints.
