Course description

In December 2020, Southwark Coroner Philip Barlow made legal history when he found that air pollution had made a ‘material contribution’ to the death of a nine-year-old child, Ella Kissi-Debrah.

Since the ruling, what does the future hold for environmental considerations in inquests? Barrister Ramya Nagesh will explore this in just 30 minutes.

This webinar will look at the inquest and the Coroner’s ruling, the Prevention of Future Deaths Report issued by the Coroner, the government’s response to that report, and more.
