Course description

The UK has officially left the EU, but UK residents can still be impacted by the Succession Regulation, known as Brussels IV.


This virtual classroom seminar, presented by barrister James Normington, will highlight the points that private client advisors need to know about the regulation, and its application post Brexit. It will also draw attention to the best practice questions to ask and the appropriate solutions, and is aimed at those who have a knowledge of and practice in wills and probate space.


Discover what happens if your client has links to a European country, or owns property in the EU, and what needs to be considered and addressed when looking at their wills. James will also discuss how wills from European countries will be dealt with under English law post-Brexit, and much more.
