Course description

Paperless offices and virtual conveyancing are firmly with us and like it or not conveyancers have to deal with a new age. Accelerated by the pandemic increasingly our work is online, so it is timely to take a closer look at the portal and business e-services.

Whilst Land Registry applications are through the portal in a majority of cases this has not yet reached a hundred percent, but it is expected in due course to do so. It is timely to examine some of the basics involved and some of the difficulties you might experience.

Popular presenter Paul Tobias will explore everything you need to know in just 1 hour, including conditions for using the portal, what is meant by ‘The Responsible Person’, ‘Deputy Responsible Person’, ‘Administrator’ and ‘Authorised User’, electronic signatures, and much more.
