Presented by Chartered Accountant David O’Keeffe, this virtual classroom session will provide you with all your need to know about the patent box regime as it applies to accounting periods commencing on or after 1 July 2021.


The session will wrap up the latest key aspects of the rules and the practical issues involved in preparing a patent box calculation and claim.


David will provide a brief reminder of qualifying companies, including rule for groups, and will discuss the development condition and qualifying IP. The post July 2021 rules for calculating relevant IP profits will be covered, along with the impact of cost sharing agreements, IP losses, and more.
