Course description
This course will provide an overview of some of the options for the development of natural gas resources, including stranded gas resources (or potentially stranded resources). It will also provide a basic knowledge of gas monetization routes and how to target the optimal gas monetization option and avoid gas becoming stranded. Various options will be considered from technical, commercial and strategic perspectives. Advantages and disadvantages of key technologies will be identified and summarized. The course will then provide students with advice and guidelines on how to compare the various monetization options.
