IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management
The wide range of environmental, sustainability and governance principles covered ensures that learners appreciate and understand the breadth of the sustainability agenda, and the focus on specific management tools and skills provides learners with an introduction to practical application that they will need when working within this arena.
On successful completion of the course and assessment candidates will receive 12 months’ Associate Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). IEMA is the membership body for more than 15,000 environment and sustainability professionals worldwide.

The IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management covers 3 broad types of knowledge:
- Core Knowledge (Fundamentals of Sustainability and Fundamental Business and Governance Principles and Issues)
- Technical Knowledge – Environment (Fundamental Environmental Issues and Principles; Policy, Regulation and Legislation; Management and Assessment Tools; Innovative and Leading Practices)
