Ideal for students who are looking to develop their counselling skills to benefit their work, this course will allow you to gain an understanding of the fundamental theories and frameworks in counselling. Studying this diploma in counselling skills provides you with an opportunity to learn how to apply core theories, study ethical frameworks, understand how to develop counselling relationships and find out more about diversity and discrimination. After completing this nationally-recognised qualification, you will be able to take your studies to a higher level, use the skills you have gained to complement your current role, or progress to a role in which counselling skills are required. This course is approved by the ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists), at the end of this course students will be able to join and become a member of the ACCPH. The ACCPH is an independent self-regulated professional body for counsellors, psychotherapists and hypnotherapists. What next?
