Illustration (All Levels)

Throughout the year, each term will have a different theme: The autumn term covers LINE, TONE AND COLOUR covering media such as pen, ink and wash and gouache.

Spring term is about NARRATIVE AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, and the summer term is focused on COMPOSITION AND DESIGN.

Students on the course will develop their work by following weekly and bi-weekly briefs. In a friendly informal atmosphere, students will benefit from peer feedback as well as a weekly 1-1 session with the tutor. Students are welcome to attend individual terms or all three if they wish.

The course is taught by published children's author and illustrators Jane Porter, who has a wealth of industry experience to share (www.janeporter.co.uk).
